Our community mission is built on four fundamental pillars: industry, local, social, and global.

I+AM Cares is an agency-initiated give-back program aimed to connect with and empower individuals on local, national and global levels by offering genuine support amidst global crisis, volunteering our time at local organizations, highlighting our creators’ involvement in their own communities, as well as hosting a bi-annual mentorship program for BIPOC creators.

As global-minded conscientious individuals, we felt called upon to target our resources, skills and time to individuals in our local communities, but also share the causes that are important to our greater network of creators.

We understand that there is great power in connecting with individuals to grow personally and improve our company’s social impact.

02. LOCAL

efforts focused on giving back to our community on a local level

LOCAL PARTNER ORGANIZATION

Each year, the team highlights one local cause/group to focus on and offer our hands-on support to. In teams, we contribute 4-6 hours per month at our partner organization, with the partner organization or on their behalf. We will seek in-kind donations brands to curate a special care package to distribute to our partner organizations’ beneficiaries. The team will also rally our incredible network to participate in the collection of specific goods for donation depending on the needs of our various partner organizations.

BIPOC MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

#IAMYOURALLY is our agency’s BIPOC mentorship program aimed at amplifying the voices and creators within the BIPOC community. The program is designed in a way that lends our expertise to up-and-coming creators; giving them the insider knowledge, tools and skills needed to navigate and succeed in our industry.

HOW IT WORKS

Each creator will participate in a one-month long program, where they’ll benefit from one-on-one sessions with I+AM’s agents and have access to exclusive keynote presentations. Each week is designed with a specific topic in mind.

WEEK 01

rates + pitching

To kick off the first week, we will assess and structure rates to ensure they’re industry standard; identify how to best prepare packages for consideration; as well as provide an overview + best practices for pitching yourself to brands and agencies.

WEEK 02

negotiating contracts + project management

In the program’s second week, we’ll educate you on how to review a contract, what to look out for and how to properly facilitate redlines and request changes. We’ll also give you with tools and an example of how to organize + manage your projects internally.

WEEK 03

invoicing 101 + tips on growing social media presence

In the third week, you’ll learn how to create an invoice and we’ll teach you everything you need to know about what to include on an invoice and help ensure you receive timely payment. Separately to that, we’ll also walk you through some tips and tricks on helping your social media presence + following.

WEEK 04

keynote speakers

Week four is all about connecting with other industry professionals for insider knowledge on what happens on the other side. You’ll have exclusive access to sit in on a presentation + Q&A with two keynote talks:

  2. Presentation + Q&A: I+AM on 101 Paid Ads

#IAMYOURALLY is a bi-annual effort, with the program taking place in October and May of each year.

efforts focused on educating + spreading awareness within our social community

#IAMCARES COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT

Our community highlight is a two-pronged social media campaign: it aims at educating and sharing how our direct network of creators and brand/agency partners contribute to society in unique and meaningful ways; as well as highlights our company’s ‘Monthly Acts of Kindness’ which features our team’s commitment to small acts of service in our local or greater community

efforts focused on giving back to time-sensitive crises in the world

EMERGENCY COMMUNITY SUPPORT FUND

I+AM’s leadership team vowed to allocate a percentage of profits on a yearly basis to I+AM Care’s Emergency Community Support Fund to make monetary support available to community organizations across the globe, as they tackle complex time-sensitive crises, for vital services and aid.
